Event in New York

Please join us Tuesday evening, May 27, for a discussion and happy hour sponsored by Asia Catalyst, on New York City's Upper West Side. The event is called "Who Killed Chea Vichea? Cambodia Labor Rights Under Attack" and it's part of their series, Asia Catalyzers.

Producer Rich Garella will be joined by Katja Hemmerich, who worked as an adviser to the Free Trade Union of the Workers of the Kingdom of Cambodia from February 1999 until June 2000. She worked closely with Chea Vichea and knew him well.

We'll show the trailer and a selection from the film in progress, and talk about the issues raised by the documentary.

The discussion starts at 7:00 p.m. and we'll transition into happy hour around 8:30.
A requested donation of $5 benefits Asia Catalyst.
